baby's waist in inches (measure circumference one inch or more below belly button-if they have a big belly, measure underneath it, at the crease)

baby's rise in inches (take a tape measure and measure from the belly button, go between the legs and end at the back where the belly button would be if it were on his/her back—you will be making the letter 'U' with a tape measure between your baby's legs)

baby's leg circumference (measure leg where the underwear line of a bikini style cut trainer would rest)
